Casa Maria di Jucunda Sicilia Holiday Experiences is located in one of the characteristic alleyways of Modica Alta on the ground floor of a period building

 

Renovated in 2022, it was an old wine 'putia'. A meeting place for the workers of the town of Modica. A place of storytelling, common chatter & anecdotes seated around a table on which a bottle of wine, bread and cumpanagghiu (Sicilian side dishes) were never missing.

Today it has been transformed into a comfortable home.
The 33 square metres of Casa Maria have been stylishly furnished paying attention to detail so that everything needed for a pleasant stay is on hand.

Welcoming

Entering the house, on the left you will find the comfortable kitchen equipped with a fridge, hob and a breakfast table.
The extendable table is in the centre and can seat up to 6 people.

Comfortable

Under the loft you will find the sofa bed.

A handsome sideboard for storing groceries in completes the furnishings.

Tailored

Also under the loft is a comfortable bathroom with a large shower.

Intimate

The sleeping area, contained in the loft space is equipped with a beautiful double bed with memory foam mattress, wardrobe & luggage storage.

Chef service at home
Although the house is equipped with a convenient kitchen with everything needed for cooking, we can provide a cook to prepare delicious meals for you, to have everything ready when you come back
Cleaning service
Choose whether you want daily or regular cleaning. Just let us know the day and time (usually between 10a.m. and 12 noon or between 4p.m. and 7p.m.).
Shopping service
Let us know what you would like to have at home (pasta, meat, cold cuts, tomatoes, vegetables, fruit) and we will make sure everything is arranged for you.
Or you can decide to buy fruit and vegetables by contacting one of our trusted street vendors who will come to your front door with his three-wheeled van full of fresh fruit, vegetables, and greens.
Take me home service
If one evening you decide to dine out, perhaps by the sea or simply to have a carefree evening with a glass of wine somewhere, we can offer a chauffeur-driven car service that will take you to your restaurant, wait for you, and drive you home safely.
Car rental service
For a do-it-yourself holiday, we can offer a car rental service so you can drive around the places that are of most interest to you at your leisure.
Transfer service
